Nice initial design with some flaws

I have had this refrigerator for about 3.5 years. While the design is initially appealing there are some cons that jump out. Likely the biggest con: a very small ice tub + it takes a long time to fill the ice tub. Often the tub will stay empty during hot summer days even after using the setting to make ice quicker. Some features such as the sensor that can open the door with a slide of foot near the bottom are over kill functions that sell products but are rather often useless in reality and just add to the cost. The shelf setup could be redesigned to include more height / shelf options. Fairly quickly it was clear that large jugs like 1 gallon milk jugs could not seamlessly coexist with smaller containers without wasting a lot of space. It would be great if the filters water fresh food filter had a longer shelf life before needing to be replaced. The current issue which is likely just bad luck and not model specific is the condenser stopped working causing the refrigerator and freezer to not cool enough. A repair is being done today but took a couple of weeks to arrange with the help of Square Trade / LG support. Overall considering it is the top model LG offers and expensive compared to mid / lower models it could be a better experience. Note: The refrigerator was part of the 3 piece LG Signature set refrigerator oven dishwasher and was purchased from Costco.

This fridge sucks

We have had it for 3 years and had multiple parts fail. LG was in no hurry to get it fix. 10 days without a fridge or freezer with temperatures over 100 degrees. Customer service sucks. I will NEVER by another LG product again

Problems from Day one

We have had the fridge for two years...the installers damaged a door...the replaced door did not close... had to have it replaced again...now the icemaker is not working and I have spent 20 plus hours with support etc trying to get this fixed....have an extended warrantee with Lowes for 5 years and that seems worthless...still no ice for 3 MONTHS...

Designer Fridge

Id some issues with the first two refrigerators not sealing and leaking air in freezer. LG signature service was awesome and was there for me throughout the ordeal. Shipping was the issue as the freezer was being bent. I just had an issue on the third fridge as it was not cooling to proper temperature. A qualified tech came to replace parts and all is working well. I really love the spaciousness and features. I wish the racks were better adjusted for taller items as I have to lay items sideways in the fridge. Freezer is the best. Lots of storage and the automatic shelves are wonderful. Very hard to hook up to WiFi.

Loved the freezer french doors

I have had LG Signature refrigerator for a little over 3 years and just loved it. I especially loved the freezer french door how the freezer drawers would automatically move forward when a door is opened and most of all a very fancy auto door feature when my hands are full gripping a large pots or when my hands are full till its cooling.
