I am sorry not to give a positive review: freezer ices up every few weeks fridge is never colder than 55. The shelf spacing inside not easy to organize items crisper handles too big and no lowest shelf on door because of that. Door too close to floor my bare feet get caught if I dont watch out. The light is always on. The technician was in contact with me but is a few hours away and has not yet scheduled a visit.

As i said in a previous review the difference between my last refrigerator and you know who that is has made my life much improved just because you can put anything at all into it without a problem. Shelving freezer controls are all in the right place and that really makes a difference. All i say is LG engineering is tops. Im now replacing my dishwasher based on that fact alone Thank you BF

We bought it in Nov 2022 and this month the refrig was not getting cold enough for food to store safely 55 -60 degrees. We had to have someone come out to replace the motor. It took them 2 weeks to come out and do this after multiple calls/complaints from me and my husband.

Bad refrigerator worse customer service

I purchased this fridge a little over 2 years ago. After approximately one year the auto defrost feature failed causing ice buildup in the freezer compartment. Then the lower refrigerator section stopped working altogether while the freezer was operational. Currently the temperature in my refrigerator compartment is 65 degrees F. My interaction with customer service has been a disaster. I have called at least 10 times and get no help . I got recommendations to repair centers that will not service LG in my area and suggestions that are clearly straight out of a text. It seems like every time I call we go back to square one. Very dissatisfied.

Bought from Lowes. 1st one delivered would not work at all. 2nd one they delivered was the same broke one that I returned the 1st time. 3rd time it was delivered was a new one and works fine. I asked the delivery driver to switch the doors and they wouldnt because it wasnt written down but it was on the other delivery tickets.

We bought this refrigerator a little over a year ago. It had been working fine and suited our needs. I like how there is no computer type screen and how it is lo fi. But then it stopped cooling properly and its been a headache. We will need to rebuild one of the systems. Thankfully LG is paying for this but we wouldnt have bought the product if we knew we might encounter this problem.

Very nice looking fridge which fits our space and seems to work well. However it is not fingerprint resistant. In fact it shows everywhere it is touched and needs constant cleaning. In addition we noticed a crack on the border of one of the shelves. We contacted Customer Service who were great in getting the details and sending out a replacement shelf. Overall we like this fridge.

we took delivery of this fridge May 11 2023. We bought it new with the optional ice maker. The ice maker which was delivered with the fridge was the wrong one and could not be hooked up. Lowes said you have to talk to the manufacturer. Manufacturer said Talk to Lowes. Weve been getting the runaround ever since. Lowes never calls back when they say they will and we are still without an ice maker at the end of August. Thumbs down on Lowes.

Refrigerator makes sounds like a jackhammer

This refrigerator was a given to me a gift which is sad because it was intended to replace a 25-year old refrigerator that was still working. Right now after only 18 months the back of the freezer compartment is making jackhammer noises and the refrigerator compartment is not cooling below about 58 degrees causing mold to grow and forcing me to throw everything out. I checked to see if there was any ice build-up blocking the vents and everything is clear. I cant believe that LG products are only made to last for 18 months when I can pick up 25-year old refrigerators that are still running. This sours me on their entire line of products.

I wrote a previous review this represents an update. What I like? Great price. Nice clean design. No trouble-prone auto ice maker. Good warranty service leak in butane line in a fairly remote geographical location. Generous corporate response to request for compensation for lost contents. What I dont like? Hinged on the left as you face it the right bottom corner is so sharp that it can painfully injure the top of your unshod foot. After experiencing this I got and easily installed a child corner guard from Amazon.

Exactly two weeks after my year warranty expired the evaporator fan started making noise and I took back freezer cover off expecting to find an ice build up but there wasnt any ice just the fan motor itself wasnt working properly.

I hate this fridge. The door has not closed properly since day 1. I have spent hours on the phone with customer support. They dont have anyone in the whole state of Maine who can do warranty repairs Now they say they will send a new fridge. Wish I could get a different one. Will never buy one with the pocket handle again.

I have had this for 2years and 2 months. The refrigerator quit cooling it is now on 54 degrees. The freezer works No one wants to help. Ive been messing with this problem since May 2023. It came without the bottom cover. Lg refuses to give me one. Never buy again

Low power comsumpion

I bought this model because of its digital inverter compressor which has a low startup surge and is very efficient. It keeps the refrigerator and freezer at the perfect temperature. I have been running it from solar powered portable power station with no problems at all so it is ready for ac power failure emergency.

This refrigerator is awful it only lasted less than 2 years before it died and was not able to get fixed. Was not able to get a replacement because the internal wire was what died and is not replaceable.

Classic Style Refrigerator - Just What We Needed

Whats not to like? Its a top-freezer refrigerator just exactly the right width to fit through the door into our utility room. The shelves is the door are extra large which is handy. I use a fridge thermometer and the temperature is even and stable everywhere on the shelves.

JUST made it

Just days before the short warranty expired the fridge began losing its cool. It took about a week to get their subcontracted tech identified and out to diagnose. It will take another week ? to get it fixed if there is no supply chain problem. Its summer. Its hot. We have guests. Hundreds of dollars in food questionable or definitely ruined. We bought it from Best Buy. Their installers failed to level the fridge so that the doors automatically close. And they failed to take the plastic off.

I am happy with my new refrigerator but I only wish that it had a dairy drawer like some of the other models. When I called the company they said this model does not come with one and I couldnt add one to it. I did not notice that it didnt have one when I bought it. Other than that it is working good and I am happy that I was able to received it without having to wait months.
