3 years ago it was purchased. Compressor failed. Was replaced with a new one. The only negative is the function of the ice maker. Cubes freeze up and will not disperse ice into glass until you will have to get a ice pick and break it up in small bits to cycle through exit shoot.

Fridges compressor broke after 4 years and 3 months. Luckily it was still under warranty and was replaced free of charge. However had to be without a fridge for 3 weeks before they had availability to come repair it.

Broken Ice Maker

Ice cube maker is only 15 months old. Paid for an appliance company to come out. LG claimed the fan isnt made yet to repair this He searched all over and could only find a part that was comparable to the fan used in this beast. It is now in my garage waiting to go to my grandsons garage. What a bitter disappointment.

Great looking but malfunctioning

The refrigerator worked goof for about 3 years and started to fail. The temperature started to go up and LG sent a technician that has been trouble shooting the issue for the last 2 weeks and has not been able to fix. We have had this refrigerator for about six months now and it is wonderful I love having the outer door which keeps everything extra cold when you want to get something small. The ice machine is handy as always and I really like the double drawer freezer at the bottom. This allows me to get stuff without exposing all of that space to the warmer air. It runs quietly and efficiently and is easy for our eight year old granddaughter to access for the things that she wants a wonderful purchase indeed

Great refrigerator. So many features.

I purchased this from Lowes and love it. All of my kitchen appliances and laundry appliances are LG. When I moved I had to leave my range behind and the range in the new house isnt LG. So guess what my next purchase will be? My LG dishwasher is awesome and is also feature packed. The Wi-Fi features on all the appliances notifies you of every phase of usage that it needs to.

Lasted 3 years into a ten year manufactory warranty. LG cant locate a technician to fix and refuses to refund even though i provided a copy of the check for proof of purchase. LG says i have to show receipt.

We especially like the Insta-view access door to keep from opening the whole refrigerator. I bought my refrigerator 3 weeks ago. It was a floor model at Lowes so there was visible wear and tear from being handled and moved around frequently. Upon running it in my house the motor was making a loud noise and one of the freezer drawers wouldnt close properly. I called LG and they sent a technician out the following week. They fixed the motor situation and ordered parts to see if they could remedy the freezer drawer. It took a bit for the parts to come in but problems solved when all was said and done I am quite impressed with how the technicians showed concern in wanting to fix my fridge for me. I felt like they were actually looking out for my best interest Ill continue to buy LG products as this was a first rate way to deal with customers Thank you LG

Overall an excellent product

Although purchased in mid-May this refrigerator was delivered just last week. So far we are very pleased with it: great features nice design quiet operation. Earlier reviews had mentioned ice with an objectionable taste. As of now LG has corrected that problem. Our icemaker produces an abundant supply and the ice has no taste of its own.

Great well built refrigerator. However...

Bought this refrigerator about a month ago. It has performed very well since and have not had any issues. The French door style is WONDERFUL compared to the side by side I replaced. This holds LOTS of product. Its quiet when it runs and maintains consistent temperatures I have added Thermometers to both the Refrigerator and freezer. I love the Instaview function and the door in door. The only disappointment is the ice maker. VERY slow making ice even when using the Ice Plus feature. There are only two of us in the house and filling a glass each with ice pretty much empties the bin and the unit takes over 24 hours to refill it... Plus the ice maker is VERY noisy from filling with water to dumping the ice. Other than that the refrigerator is a dream...and looks really nice.

Pretty Good product But

my LG refrigerator is beautiful and really brightens up the kitchen. I love all of the features. However the freezer fan motor and the refrigerator fan motor both died at the same time. Customer service awful. So I watched a few YouTube videos and figured out how to change the parts myself saving hundreds of dollars. Very disappointed that I had this kind of problem in the first 12 months. Ive had similar refrigerators for five years with zero problems. This is a very expensive product. I wouldnt expect that kind of defect. To be exact this happened at the 15 month mark of ownership.

Within a year our refrigerator door seal came off and cooling is is not great. Due to seal issues refrigeration is not ideal. I did contact LG and they didnt respond at all I did send pictures and gave details. Warranty by store was one year and exactly after a year deal came off. Thinking that refrigerator always has good life but this LG product seemed to perform poor exactly after a year. Spending so much on product LG didnt provide any service. Overall not happy with product and LG service
