I went with this set as the size is just a little smaller for my laundry noon but has a great load capacity. When going between two different units once I narrowed it down, I chose this one bc of the light blue color and I love it.

Short Life (13 months)

Had this machine for 12 months and 3 weeks. Of course 3 weeks out of warranty the rear ball bearing gave out and the top valve burst. Estimated repair of $1200. Had water go all over my house and damage the surrounding dry wall. Called customer service to see what they could do and they wanted to charge me $400 for their machine that broke in 13 months and damaged my house. Customer service then hung up on me as I requested where I could leave a review of the product. Had to call back to a different customer service representative to find where I could leave a review. Terrible product with a manufacturer that won't take responsibility for the product breaking down. in my 30 years of existence I have never been mad enough to leave a bad review until now. Don't purchase this hunk of junk.

My wife and I purchased our new Electrolux washer after much searching and reading. it truly seemed like it was the best fit for us with the options. we also really liked the design, and color. we have 5 children and do a lot of laundry. and after two weeks we really like this washer! the quality is evident in everything from the paint (looks like fine automobile paint) to the drum inside. the controls are easy to use. even really like the little magnetic door prop to allow the washer to air out after using. to us its so obvious fine engineering and workers who care are show. in your fine product. we previously come from another well known front load washer company "M" that we used their brand for years, but the quality kept going down, the last one only lasted two years. that was enough! We are so glad we made the switch to Electrolux. looking forward to purchasing the matching dryer soon. well as fr us all, our money comes dear so hopefully not to soon haha! keep the fine work!

**Buyer's Beware** DON"T BUY ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS

While I love my washer/dryer set, Electrolux's customer service is HORRIBLE. If I could give them a negative 10, I would. I bought this set brand new and had issues from day one. When the wash cycle is done and you open the machine to start another wash, the liquid detergent bowl is full of liquid. The machine does not siphon the water out properly. I called customer service to request a technician to fix it and they said it was an installation problem and refused to open a ticket. I had to get Lowe's involved just to get Electrolux to acknowledge a problem and open a warranty ticket. Technicians have now been out to my home many times; they've replaced parts, made adjustments, the technician in my home spoke to an Electrolux technician over the telephone and when they couldn't fix the problem, they deemed it to be a "normal" function of the machine. There's so much water left in the bowl there's no room to add detergent. I have to physically take the bowl out of the machine and carry it to my kitchen sink to empty it so I can then add detergent before I can do the next wash. This is not "normal", it's a manufacturer's defect and Electrolux does not stand behind their products. They will not do anything further to fix this problem. I even filed a complaint with the BBB and they are still refusing to accept responsibility for a defective machine.

I recently had a very negative experience with a different brand, their obvious intentional design flaw, & their shady business practices regarding their extended warranty. I take excellent care of my machines. I have recently learned my lesson with today™€™s situation when trying to find a reliable, repairable machine that will last for a reasonable period of time. I decided to purchase this washing machine (my last one was made by ™€œW™€¦P..L™€, which lasted a mere 17 months before it was too costly to fix). For this new machine, of course I made sure that I purchased the extended warranty (from my last experience, believe me when I tell you that you will be dreadfully sorry all the way around if you don™€™t). It is an obvious additional purchase we have to make as customers these days with equipment that is designed to fail. If you don™€™t, you will be blamed by everyone you speak to, from the place you purchased the machine from, all the way to the manufacturer. I was treated like a dirtbag for not having purchased the extended warranty after my previous machine circuit board broke after only 17 months. Here™€™s hoping I can at least get my money™€™s worth out of this machine. As far as the machine itself goes, so far it is doing a good job. It is effective & efficient. There are many design features I appreciate. Hopefully this Electrolux can change my mind about manufacturers™€™ business practices these days. We™€™ll see.

It's so much easier for me since I have MS, and pulling clothes out of my old washer was hard for me. Purchased this unit as a set with dryer to replace 20+ year old top load washer. I love the look of this washer. I'll admit since this was my first front-load, I was nervous about leaking issues, but after doing my research I got over it and went all in. Pros: It looks great, easy to use, and does a great job washing the clothes. The front load means I no longer have to bend over and reach deep to grab that elusive sock at the bottom. Cons: If anything, I'd wish for two things: One: That the top of the washer had a backstop to keep clothes from falling behind the unit, and Two: That I had purchased the pedestals to raise them up.

This front loading washing machine uses so little water compared to the Samsung one I had before. I have to keep checking my clothes to see if they were truly washed, and they are! The clothes are spinned a lot dryer as well, so they dry quicker. I™€™m glad I purchased it during the great recent sale!

New series 400 frontloading set installed last week. I love the blue color! Replaced an old Samsung set.I was unaware of the washer scent, but I love it! It's soft and fresh. This is my 1st set up on pedestal drawers. No more getting on my knees to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer. Settings are really easy. I opted for this model since I didn't need an app to do laundry. I don't feel that I'm missing out on extra gadgets offered on newer models (more items mean more repairs down the line) So far, I'm very happy with these machines.

There are so many things I love about this new washer, but something is puzzling me. There seems to be a scent emanating from the gasket of the door. Is the gasket made of rubber or silicon? Our previous washer and dryer took far longer to wash and dry a load of laundry. We were always struggling to keep up with the accumulating dirty clothes. Not so any longer.
